Stacy joined Lightspeed in 2024 as the firm’s first Vice President of Internal Talent, where she leads efforts to develop and execute innovative talent strategies that drive the firm’s growth and culture. With more than 20 years of experience in tech recruiting and people operations, she has a passion for building and connecting with individuals who are shaping the future.

Stacy began her career during the dot-com boom, recruiting top tech talent to help startups scale and witnessed firsthand the challenges of building a business. Her curiosity about what makes companies thrive led her to start her own ventures, including Food Mafia, a private dining recommendation platform. She later honed her skills on a global scale, leading McKinsey’s tech talent attraction efforts and partnering with leaders to design impactful hiring strategies.

Drawn to the intersection of innovation and purpose, Stacy joined Lightspeed to help build the foundation for its next phase of growth. She is inspired by the firm’s people and relentless focus on transformative technologies, and is particularly excited about the potential of AI to create powerful, user-centered solutions.

A Kansas native with a strong Midwest work ethic, Stacy’s curiosity about the world beyond was ignited during a childhood trip to California. That experience fueled a passion for diverse perspectives and shaped her life and career. She now calls San Francisco home, where she loves sunny moments outdoors and exploring the city’s vibrant culture.

In her downtime, Stacy loves to travel with her husband, Dave, to explore new cuisines, cultures, and connect with people from all walks of life.
