Abhiram is an Associate at Lightspeed, where he partners with early-stage Enterprise SaaS and AI companies. Drawn to the zero-to-one phase, he thrives in environments where the path is uncertain but the ambition is unmistakable. Prior to joining Lightspeed, Abhiram built and scaled products at Flipkart.
He led the launch of the companyʼs influencer commerce platform, developed dynamic discounting algorithms, and worked on ‘search systems’ during the early wave of generative AIʼs impact on product discovery. The complexity of these systems, crafted over years by large teams, sparked a lasting curiosity: how can non-technical companies build similarly sophisticated tech? That question ultimately led him to the world of SaaS and AI, and then to venture capital.
At Lightspeed, Abhiram brings a product-first lens and a belief in the power of deep, enduring partnerships. He takes joy in being a thought partner on Day Zero – listening, brainstorming, stress-testing ideas, and helping navigate the highs and lows of the founder journey.
