Periodic Labs is building AI models that form hypotheses, run simulations, and plan syntheses, paired with robotic lab systems that execute those experiments autonomously. A key near-term goal is discovering superconductors that operate at much higher temperatures than current materials, which would enable next-generation transportation systems and power grids with minimal energy losses.

Faction advises its own fund(s) and does not advise any LSVP clients, and LSVP does not advise Faction or any of its clients. LSVP and Faction are parties to an agreement pursuant to which LSVP holds certain interests in Faction and the fund(s) Faction manages.
