As Vice President on the Investor Relations team, Kaash deepens Lightspeed’s global relationships with Limited Partners, working closely with LPs to ensure they’re aligned with the firm’s vision and energized by the founders and ideas Lightspeed backs.
Prior to joining Lightspeed, Kaash was part of the Client & Capital Formation group at TPG, where he focused on the Growth and Impact platforms. He began his career at JPMorgan Chase, holding roles in both Investor Relations and the Corporate & Investment Bank.
It was early in Kaash’s career where he became increasingly curious about the themes truly shaping markets. “The more time I spent in traditional finance, the more I realized how deeply technology had permeated everything – it felt less like a sector and more like the lens through which every industry was being reimagined,” he says. “It’s not just disrupting industries, it’s fundamentally rewiring how value is created.” That curiosity led him to venture, where he sees ideas and capital converging to shape what gets built next and how transformation unfolds.
Much of Kaash’s approach to work was shaped by his upbringing. Raised by two immigrant parents who arrived in America with next to nothing and a belief in the American dream, he witnessed firsthand the sacrifices and stamina required to build something from scratch. “They taught me that success isn’t just about having a great idea; it’s also about also putting in the work and being willing to put yourself out there.” That example instilled in him a mindset of openness, grit, and the belief that there’s always something to learn from every person and every situation.
Outside of work, Kaash is a committed triathlete. The discipline and mental clarity he finds in swimming, biking, and running inform his long-term perspective on everything he does. “You have to stay consistent through the unknown, trust the process, and believe that the best outcomes take time to materialize.”
