Entrepreneur in Residence
Samer is an entrepreneur-in-residence at Lightspeed Venture Partners, which he joined in January 2010. Samer is currently founder & CEO of Zeel.com. Relaunched in December 2012, Zeel gives consumers the power to book same-day, in-home massage appointments via app or website in under a minute.
Prior to that, Samer Hamadeh was co-founder and CEO of Vault.com, the most trusted name in career information, which was sold in October 2007 to Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a New York-based media-and-communications private-equity firm.
Before co-founding Vault, Samer was an associate at the Los Angeles management consulting firm LEK Consulting, where he focused on corporate and business strategy. Prior to that, Samer co-founded and managed a customized-textbook printing company, worked at the Chevron Corporation, and co-authored The Internship Bible and America’s Top Internships (Random House/Princeton Review).
Samer sits on the board of the non-profit PeaceWorks Foundation and is a board observer, angel investor, and/or advisor in two dozen early-stage companies, including GrubHub, SalesCrunch, Insidr.com, Splurgy, and PublicStuff. Samer is also a mentor at several accelerators, including Blueprint Health, NYCSeedStart, and First Growth Venture Network, as well as a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Georgetown McDonough School’s
Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.
A David Rockefeller Fellow, Samer holds a BS in chemistry and an MS in chemical engineering from Stanford University.
