David joined Lightspeed in 2008 and focuses on the firm’s investment efforts in Israel, with a focus on the enterprise infrastructure, communications and semiconductors sectors.
David is currently working closely with the teams at LiveU, Elastifile and Wi Charge. His past investments include Provigent (acquired by Broadcom), XtremIO (acquired by EMC) and Insightera (acquired by Marketo).
Before joining Lightspeed, David spent 8 years at BRM Capital, an Israeli venture capital firm where he led investments in the communications and components sectors. At BRM David worked with the teams of Oplus (acquired by Intel) and Passave (acquired by PMC-Sierra)
Prior to BRM, he served as CEO at Paspar2, an Internet application service provider. He also served as corporate attorney at Rosensweig & Co., a leading Israeli commercial law firm. Prior to that, he was the head of software development teams for the Israel Defense Forces as well as Edunetics, where he managed a programming team that produced software products for the U.S. market.
David holds a BA in Economics and an LLB from Tel Aviv University, as well as an MBA from Insead, Fontainebleau, France.
